The Fire Department has a baseline funding from direct property assessments. These funds cover the basic costs of maintaining the Fire House (utilities etc.) and annual equipment maintenance. Facility and equipment upgrades are derived from grants, mutual aid agreements, and the generosity of our community through fund raisers and donations.
